DWG Plans Franchise: Key Ingredients to Success
One of the fastest growing Architectual franchises in the UK!
DWG Plans is now becoming one of the most successful franchises within the UK. Owner Paul Blay started the company , based in Southampton Hampshire in 2016 and it’s gone from strength to strength since.
The first franchise was sold in February 2024 to Paul Trussler, based in the Cotswolds. After seeing an advert online, Paul was keen to explore what DWG Plans could offer in the way of a franchise and how it could better his working/life balance. After the initial chat with DWG Plans he was eager to start his journey and signed up as our first franchisee.
Andrew Monk was the next franchisee to join the business. He had already worked closely with DWG Plans for several years producing building regulation drawings. He decided to become a franchisee of DWG Plans , seeing the success that the Hampshire and Cotswolds branches were doing and now runs the Chilterns and Surrey Hill office.
The beginning of 2025 saw Ziedune Kuskiene join the DWG Plans franchise family. After speaking with Paul Blay and learning more about the business she decided to join and become the third franchisee within a year. Ziedune heads up the Cambridgeshire area and with her experience in architectural design she is helping clients unlock the full potential of their homes.
In quick succession 2 more franchisees came onboard in April.
After an enquiry through our franchise website and talking to Paul Blay, Carl Nowacki joined the company and became the fourth franchisee. He is based between Leicester and Derby and covers the majority of the East Midlands. With his background in retail /commercial design and liaising with clients all over the world, he was a perfect fit for the franchise business.
Shortly after Carl joined, Eleni Karypidou invested in the franchise. Covering the Manchester area, she has trained in architecture and is a qualified architect having a Diploma in Architecture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a master’s degree in European Urban Conservation from the University of Dundee, Scotland. She has the expertise and knowledge in the commercial and residential architecture industry and is keen to help home-owners in Manchester and surrounding areas on their extensions.
